Aig-Imoukhuede enjoyed a distinguished banking career for over 20 years before his appointment as Managing Director/CEO of Access Bank Plc in March 2002. Over the course of the past 8 years, the bank has successfully pioneered a number of initiatives that have redefined the Nigerian banking industry and transformed Access Bank into a world-class financial services provider. Aig-Imoukhuede is a member of the Presidential Committee on the establishment of African Investment Bank, an honorary member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, and member of the National Executive Council of the Institute. He is Chairman of the Friends of the Global Fund for Africa, a foundation that focuses on the eradication of HIV/AIDS, and TB.
