Adjo Mfodwo

Adjo Mfodwo joined GBC in May 2009, bringing with her a broad range of experience in business and healthcare. Her role focuses on galvanizing collective action among member companies and facilitating partnerships with strong implementing partners from civil society, government and national business coalitions. Over the last 17 years, Mfodwo has worked in various areas of healthcare, including clinical practice, pharmaceutical manufacturing, healthcare consulting, public health program implementation and HIV/AIDS program implementation in the community and workplace. Prior to joining GBC, Mfodwo was the CEO of the Virax Southern Africa Project. She worked in the pharmaceutical industry for GlaxoSmithKline and, following a career in management consulting with KPMG, she established and ran her own healthcare consultancy.
