Dr. Anu Gupta

Dr. Anu Gupta manages Johnson & Johnson's HIV/AIDS portfolio which encompasses over 100 grants in nearly 50 countries. She provides strategic direction and oversees program development efforts worldwide. Previously, Gupta administered the women and children's health portfolio. Under her leadership, Johnson & Johnson launched its first produce-to-donate program providing nearly 50 million doses of mebendazole annually to treat soil transmitted helminths in children. Initially, Gupta managed operations and focused on broadening philanthropic activities in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, she was a consultant to The California Endowment. She is a board-certified internist and completed her residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where she was a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar.
