Head of International Aid Unit, Eli Lilly and Company

As Head of the International Aid Unit at Eli Lilly and Company, Dr. Carlevaro directs Lilly’s corporate policies and initiatives on health-related aid to developing nations. She is also Team Leader for The Lilly MDR-TB Partnership, the company’s signature corporate social responsibility initiative, to which it has contributed $135 million. She serves as a member of the Lilly Bioethics Committee which is responsible for building and maintaining scientific relationships and partnerships with a broad array of international institutions and non-government organizations in Geneva and throughout Europe. She sits on the Florence Nightingale International Foundation’s Board of Directors and has served on a number of technical and scientific committees with the United Nations’ World Health Organization.
