Stephen Kisakye
Community Health Coordinator, Barrick Gold Corporation

Stephen Kisakye is a public health professional experienced in global policy, epidemiology and surveillance, HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention, sustainable rural development, and strategy development for government and private health organizations. In his role as Community Health Coordinator for Barrick Tanzania, Kisakye strives to reduce time lost due to illness across Barrick's operations in Tanzania while ensuring that worker communities have access to quality healthcare. Prior to joining Barrick, Kisakye consulted for the Global Fund's Round 5 program. He was a Program Coordinator with the William J. Clinton Foundation in Tanzania where he established programs that provided care and treatment for People Living with AIDS. He later served as Regional Analyst in East and Southern Africa and Nigeria.
