David Etzwiler

Executive Director, Medtronic Foundation

David Etzwiler is Vice President of Community Affairs at Medtronic and Executive Director of the Medtronic Foundation. In this role, Etzwiler leads the development and implementation of Medtronic's worldwide philanthropy strategies, with primary responsibility for the development of major partnerships and strategic relationships among local, national and international organizations. Etzwiler previously served as Senior Director of the Medtronic Foundation and government affairs. He received Medtronic's Extreme Award for structuring partnerships with the state of Minnesota and local governments in developing Medtronic's world headquarters located in Fridley, Minn. He is also a two-time recipient of the Star of Excellence award, Medtronic's highest award for quality.
