John Tedstrom
President and CEO, GBC

In his time at GBC, John Tedstrom has led the development of an expanded mandate and strategy, leveraging the many gains made by GBC in its earlier years—a strong membership base, technical programs, and partnerships. The Coalition's work on tuberculosis and malaria began under his leadership, and an updated strategy was put into place after consultation with key stakeholder groups. One of the major innovations to emerge from that process was GBC's Impact Initiatives program, a series of focused cross-sector actions designed to achieve major results in high-priority areas.
Tedstrom also led the expansion of GBC's geographical reach through a merger with Trans Atlantic Partners Against AIDS (TPAA), an organization he founded and led prior to joining GBC.
